What should I prepare for the first pick up?
Please have your clothes ready, The Laundry Queen will bring a Laundry Queen bag to place your loose clothes in, so it helps to have them all together, alternatively if you have them in a disposable bag we will give you a Laundry Queen bag for your future use. If you are using the iron only service and you would prefer us to collect it in your basket, this is also fine. We are happy to do whatever is easiest for you. In advance of your first collection we will send you a customer details form, please complete this and email it back to us or have it completed ready for us to pick up with your first collection.
Which areas do you cover?
Eastbourne, Polegate, Hailsham, Pevensey Bay, Westham, Hailsham, Seaford, East Dean, Friston, Bexhill and all areas in between. If your area is not listed but you are near to these locations, please contact us to find out if it would be possible for for us to come you.
How do I place my order?
You can place your order in whichever way is most convenient to you. However you place your order we will always confirm collection to you.

How long do the services take?
We aim to collect your clothes, clean them to a professional standard and get them back to you all within 48 hours. If it just a wash, tumble dry and fold service or ironing only then it could be 24 hours. If it is a Repair or Alteration or Dry Cleaning it could take a little longer. We will always aim to work around you and your schedule.
Do I have to commit to a regular order?
No, you can use us once a week, once a month or twice a year! There are no contracts or obligations. We hope that you will be happy with our services and want to use us often!
WASH, TUMBLE DRY AND FOLD ORDERS:
How do you charge?
All wash, tumble dry and fold orders are done by size. Either a small load or a large load, regardless of how many items. If you fill a large bag it is £10.50 and for our small bag it is £8.50. That way you know exactly how much it will be in advance.
Are there any clothes you cannot clean in a Wash, Tumble Dry and Fold?
Please do not add silk, leather, fur, velvet or cashmere or any dry clean only items to your wash, tumble dry and fold order as they are not typically suitable for machine washing or tumble drying.
Do I need to sort my clothes into colours and whites?
We can sort the clothes, all you need to do is make sure you do not include any dry clean items with a wash, tumble and dry order.
Which items should be dry cleaned and which should be laundered?
Please note that we cannot check care labels of items in wash, tumble dry and fold orders so please separate dry clean and laundered items if needed.
What temperature do you wash the clothes at?
We process all wash, tumble dry and fold orders at a standard 30 degree temperature. However we are happy to wash your clothes at the temperature you require, for example if you prefer your clothes at 40 degrees and sheets at 60 degrees then just tell us when we make the collection.
What washing powder do you use?
We use biological powder as standard but if you would like us to use non biological powder you can request this on the customer information form.
Do you dry my clothes?
Yes all clothes in a wash, tumble dry and fold order are tumble dried at a medium heat. Please make sure your clothes are tumble dry friendly.
Do I keep the Laundry Queen Bag?
Yes we will leave the bag with you making it easier for you to gather your washing together for next time.
DRY CLEANING:
How much is it to Dry Clean an item?
We are very competitive, yet also offer a full collection and delivery service 7 days a week from 7am until 8pm. Please refer to our dry cleaning pricing list for information.
What if my clothes are damaged?
Your clothes are in safe, experienced hands and incidents are extremely rare. We are fully insured and in the very rare event your item is damaged, we will reimburse you in accordance with our compensation policy. Please refer to our terms and conditions for more details.
Can you remove all stains?
We use the highest quality equipment and the leading industry stain removal products that are available to us, however some stains can defeat even us. We will always try our best and we offer a free re- clean if you are ever dissatisfied with the quality that we provide. Unfortunately we cannot remove all stains.
IRONING ONLY:
How much is the ironing only service?
Ironing only is priced per item, please refer to our ironing price list for information.
Do I need to provide my own hangers?
No we are more than happy to provide them. However if you have your own personal hangers that you like to use we can return the ironed clothes on these.
REPAIRS AND ALTERATIONS:
How much do you charge for alterations and repairs?
Please refer to our price list. If your request is not listed please contact us for a quote.
COLLECTION AND DELIVERY:
When can you collect my order?
Collection and delivery times can differ depending on area and availability. We are very flexible and will try to accommodate your lifestyle. We are typically available from 7am until 8pm, 7 days a week. The minimum order is £10.00.
Can I arrange pickup and delivery at different locations?
Absolutely, we are really flexible. We can collect from work and deliver back home or anywhere that you instruct us to do so.
Can I reschedule a collection or delivery?
Yes no problem, just contact us to rearrange.
What if my collection or delivery is late?
If we are running late it would only due to unforeseen circumstances such as heavy traffic. We will always try our very best to avoid delays and will keep in touch with you if we are not running on time.
PAYMENT:
We accept cash on delivery or Bank Transfer
We do not accept cheques.
